Fiorucci

Spring 2023 Ad Campaign

Review of Fiorucci Spring 2023 Ad Campaign by Artistic Director Daniel Fletcher photographed in Milan by Andy Massaccesi with Models Ronja Amanda Berg and Noah

The Fiorucci Spring 2023 Collection imagines a hazy scene where memories meet with the promise of what is coming next. Perhaps it’s the morning after. Or maybe it’s the morning before. The pull of the discoteca is slowly surfacing, but for now there’s a stillness in this moment of calm.

Artistic Director Daniel Fletcher plays with duality in his latest offering for the heritage Italian house. This transpires in its colour palette where softer, subdued tones meet with bolder, typically Fiorucci hues.

Prints play on the dawning of the day with artist Nicholas Law working in collaboration with Fletcher to create the  pastel “morning rise” motif, realised across oversized knitwear and natty short twinsets. The Fiorucci logo takes on an elevated guise, stepping back to allow for new design signatures to push through. This play on the soft meeting with the bold also extends to fabrication.

The spring 2023 campaign plays on the collection’s Seventies-inspired mood and was photographed in Milan by Andy Massaccesi. The collection is shown amongst classic Italian furniture from the era in which Fiorucci was founded, illustrating the timeless reference points of this collection specifically, and the Fiorucci aesthetic at large.
