Entrepreneur to Bring Logistical and Commercial Expertise
Gabriela Hearst has named entrepreneur Siggi Hilmarsson to her brand’s board of directors. Hilmarsson, founder and CEO of the yogurt brand Siggi, will bring his logistical and operational expertise to the table.
Hilmarsson, originally from Iceland and now based in New York, launched Siggi in 2005. The low-calorie yogurt brand has since achieved international distribution. His new role at Gabriela Hearst is effective immediately.

As the founder and CEO of Siggi, Hilmarsson has overseen the brand’s expansion into new categories and international markets. Siggi’s has five production and distribution sites and is available at 30,000 points of sale. Beyond his work with Siggi, Hilmarsson is an active investor and serves on the boards of the American Scandinavian Foundation and the Lang Fund at Columbia Business School.
