A vibrant take on the 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe debuts in Jacquemus’ favorite hue
Jacquemus and Timberland have unveiled their exclusive new collaboration: the Timberland & Jacquemus 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe “La Bateau.” First introduced in 1978, Timberland’s iconic 3-Eye Lug silhouette has become a perennial favorite from the harbors of New England to the coastlines of the South of France. Now, the shoe has been reimagined in a bold “banana yellow” colorway—personally chosen by designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.
The collaboration merges Timberland’s rugged heritage with Jacquemus’ sunny, elevated minimalism. Crafted in premium Timberland® leather, the La Bateau model features a lug outsole, soft leather lining, and cotton laces. Distinct design details like square lace-tip eyelets and a co-branded metal lace keeper offer a subtle nod to both brands’ aesthetics.
The Timberland & Jacquemus Boat Shoe will be available globally starting April 23 on jacquemus.com and in select Jacquemus boutiques, including the label’s new Los Angeles store opening on April 24. It will also be available at Timberland’s Tokyo monobrand store and online at timberland.com.
