Loewe Unveils Psychedelic Short Film Collaboration with Luca Guadagnino for SS24 Men’s Collection Preview
Loewe’s creative director Jonathan Anderson and filmmaker Luca Guadagnino have collaborated on a short film titled ‘I Dreamt of LOEWE’ to offer a sneak peek of the upcoming SS24 men’s collection.
The two-minute film is set at David Zwirner New York, featuring Austrian artist Franz West’s exhibition titled Echolalia, 2010. In the psychedelic dream sequence, model Andrea Isidori falls asleep on a sofa and finds himself surrounded by West’s vibrant sculptures. The film showcases the new SS24 runway collection, emphasizing elongated silhouettes, textured fabrics, and crystal-embellished sunglasses.
The SS24 men’s runway show is scheduled for Saturday, June 24, at 12pm CET in Paris. It will be live-streamed on loewe.com and LOEWE channels.
Luca Guadagnino, known for his work as a director, producer, screenwriter, architect, and designer, collaborated with Jonathan Anderson on this project. Franz West, an Austrian artist recognized for his diverse use of materials and emphasis on social interaction, had his exhibition featured in the film.
David Zwirner, a contemporary art gallery with locations worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, and Hong Kong, has been a venue for innovative and pioneering exhibitions in various mediums.
