Sleek new flagship Store is both a celebration of heritage and a bold statement of ambition
On April 10, 2025, Lacoste unveiled its new flagship on New York’s iconic Fifth Avenue—a major move that underscores the French brand’s ambitions in the United States. Spanning more than 10,000 square feet, the sleek new space reflects Lacoste’s commitment to expanding its footprint while honoring its deep-rooted connection to American culture and style.

Lacoste has strong potential in the United States, and we’re pleased to offer new customers the opportunity to discover the brand and experience our savoir-faire in a setting as iconic as the brand itself,” said Thierry Guibert, CEO of Lacoste. “Our ambition in the U.S. market is high — we aim to double our business there.”
The new store delivers a full immersion into the world of the Crocodile. From the Spring-Summer 2025 runway collection and exclusive flagship-only capsules on the ground floor, to a striking upstairs space anchored by a deconstructed floor-to-ceiling tennis court, every detail has been curated to reflect Lacoste’s hybrid fashion-sport DNA.
Footwear takes center stage, while the brand’s underwear line is highlighted on a dedicated mural. A Polo Wall showcases René Lacoste’s most iconic invention across a vibrant spectrum of cuts, materials, and colors. The Sport Performance section features ambassador collections, including those by Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev.
The space also nods to the Maison’s roots through refined design choices. A mix of wood, concrete, and metal subtly references the brand’s signature elements—tennis skirts, rackets, and technical precision. Expansive windows flood the interior with light, ensuring Lacoste’s bright palette shines against the city’s backdrop.
This location also tells the story of René Lacoste’s personal legacy in the U.S., from his 1927 Davis Cup victory in Philadelphia to the match in Boston that earned him the nickname “The Crocodile.” Ninety historic rackets designed by Lacoste are on display, emphasizing the brand’s ongoing innovation and craftsmanship.
Outside, the store’s green mirrored façade—a striking cube—echoes the city’s energy in Lacoste’s signature tone, blending New York’s pulse with the brand’s enduring French identity.
The flagship at 575 Fifth Avenue is open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM.
