Lanvin

Spring 2023 Ad Campaign

Review of Lanvin Spring 2023 Ad Campaign by Photographer Steven Meisel with models Raquel Zimmermann, Wali, and Lex Peckham

Everyday luxury is redefined with the arrival of Lanvin’s Concerto bag. France’s oldest fashion house asserts a new elegance with a line of leather goods that commands attention with discretion and a radical idea of chic inequal measure.

Named in a nod to Jeanne Lanvin’s musical proclivities and featuring signature hardware inspired by the texture of one of her couture gowns from the 1930s, the range of Concerto accessories includes bags, wallets, and belts in a range of colors and metallics. Sharp lines and functionality transmit timelessness and a fresh perspective in a landscape otherwise crowded with adornment and over design.

An important gesture in the evolution of Lanvin, the Concerto is presented in a global campaign anchored by Steven Meisel’s ‘Character Studies’, portraits that embody and project a new brand identity.
