At his eponymous label, Daniel Del Core utilized a mastery of just a few structural techniques, with a particular emphasis on draping and corset-like structures (without the constriction), and a brilliant use of zips, to reference organic structures and the natural process of metamorphosis and craft a singular vision of expressive elegance.
Calcaterra takes home the top spot with a collection that explored asymmetry, soft structure, and volume, showing that this independent house can do minimalist luxury with the best of them.
