The immersive pop-up extends Polo Ralph Lauren’s long-standing tennis partnership while reinforcing experiential retail as a key luxury strategy.
Nordstrom is transforming The Corner at its New York City flagship into an immersive Polo Ralph Lauren destination celebrating the 2026 US Open. Running August 11th through September 8th, timed to coincide with the tournament, the pop-up will showcase Polo Ralph Lauren’s official tournament collection alongside a curated assortment of apparel, accessories, and home goods.

Beyond the product, the installation emphasizes experience. The space will feature on-site embroidery, tennis-themed programming, and visual merchandising designed to evoke the atmosphere surrounding the tournament. Since launching The Corner in 2024, Nordstrom has utilized the dedicated flagship space for rotating brand takeovers that encourage discovery and repeat visits.
The partnership builds on Polo Ralph Lauren’s established relationship with the US Open, where the label has served as the tournament’s official outfitter since 2005. As tennis continues to hold cultural relevance beyond the court, the collaboration positions both brands at the intersection of sports, fashion, and experiential retail, using one of the season’s most recognizable sporting events as a platform to increase consumer engagement and visibility.
The pop-up reflects a broader shift in luxury retail, where temporary activations have become as much about creating cultural moments as driving sales. For Nordstrom, The Corner continues to evolve into a showcase for strategic brand partnerships, while Ralph Lauren reinforces its ability to translate a heritage sponsorship into a retail experience that extends well beyond the tournament itself.
