Prada Group Broadens Korean Representation with Actor Byeon Wooseok as Brand Ambassador
Prada is deepening its engagement with the South Korean market by enlisting actor Byeon Wooseok as one of its brand ambassadors.
This comes off the back of a successful year for the 33-year-old actor, who won acclaim for his portrayal of Ryu Sun-jae in TvN’s time-traveling TV series “Lovely Runner.” He presently has 11.4 million followers on Instagram.
Wooseok was a guest at the Prada Men’s Spring 2025 show in Milan last June. He made quite an impression dressed in a sophisticated, mostly dark ensemble that included tailored pants, a thick woolen knit, a white shirt and tie, and a white leather belt with a matching buckle worn on the side.
Prior to his acting career, Wooseok first ventured into fashion modeling. His acting debut was marked by leading roles in various films and TV productions. He first came into the spotlight in 2016 with the TV drama “Dear My Friends.” From there, his acting career took off, leading to starring roles in popular series like “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” “Record of Youth,” and “Moonshine.”
In his role as a brand ambassador, Wooseok joins fellow South Korean artists like Karina from girl group Aespa; actor Kim Tae-ri; singers Jeon So-mi and Sana Minatozaki, a Japan-born artist based in South Korea and a member of girl group Twice since 2015; and singer, songwriter, and actor Jaehyun, of the NCT boy band, in addition to the group Enhypen.
Prada’s team of brand ambassadors also features Harris Dickinson, Damson Idris, Hunter Schafer, Letitia Wright, Jia Ling, and Ma Yili, along with others.
