New Collection Blends Motorsport and Science Fiction Inspirations
PUMA and Ottolinger have joined forces to create a bold new collection, drawing inspiration from motorsport and science fiction to envision a future where instincts reign supreme. The PUMA x Ottolinger collaboration, set to launch on April 25, 2024, introduces a range of apparel, footwear, and accessories designed to empower individuals for life’s adventures.
Described as a fusion of sportswear silhouettes and futuristic aesthetics, the collection features optical illusion office prints and sleek metallic finishes. Cyborg power suit prints adorn pieces like the Longsleeve, Bodysuit, and Leggings, incorporating metallic hues, vibrant red accents, and anachronistic black-tie details.
The campaign for the collection, shot in Athens, Greece, stars Alva Claire as its protagonist. Claire is depicted navigating a transforming world astride her special PUMA x Ottolinger motorcycle before relaxing with friends at sunset.
The collection’s footwear offerings, the PUMA x Ottolinger Mostro Lo and Mostro Boot, continue the futuristic theme with mirrored colorways and pops of color in red or neon.
Speaking about the collaboration, Ottolinger shared their vision for the collection: “Informed by the ethos of the C-Suite and imbued with the robotic work ethics, this distinctive collection seamlessly combines sportswear silhouettes with futuristic contours.”
The collection will be available online at ottolinger.com starting April 25, 2024, and at selected retailers worldwide, including Voo Store, Slam Jam, END. Clothing, and SSENSE, starting April 27th.
