Review of Ralph Lauren “Ralph’s Hamptons” Spring 2025 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Ralph Lauren, Photographer Alasdair McLellan, and Videographer Jacob Sutton with models Akbar Shamji, Bibi Breslin, Hamid Onifadé, Lucky Blue Smith, and Mia Armstrong
Ralph Lauren embarks on a summer daydream of the Hamptons with its new Spring 2025 campaign. The campaign was lensed by photographer Alasdair McLellan with video direction by Jacob Sutton.
The iconic designer’s “home away from home,” the Hamptons hosted Ralph Lauren’s last runway show, an off-calendar affair that saw celebrity guests take in the collection’s mix of mellow American elegance. Speaking to his connection with the region, Lauren reflects, “The Hamptons is more than a place. It’s a natural world of endless blue skies, the ocean, green fields, and white fences, rusticity and elegance with a quality of light that drew artists here decades ago. It has been home, my refuge, and always an inspiration.”
The campaign returns to those blue skies, putting an adventurous and summery spin on the brand’s Americana archetypes. Tux-clad gentlemen lounge on a classic car where white fences surround green fields. Shedding her shoes, a joyful reveler runs down the sand toward the surf, her light skirt fluttering in the gentle ocean breeze.
The accompanying short film heightens the emotional atmosphere with detail shots and a sweeping orchestral soundtrack, capturing that ode to the American dream at both intimate and epic scales.
Iconically and unmistakably Ralph Lauren, the campaign is another example of the brand’s consistent ability to transport viewers into the heart of its enduring lifestyle vision.
