After Hours
Review of Situationist Spring 2026 Ad Campaign by Creative Director with Photographer Davit Giorgadze with model Jessica Miller

There’s a particular kind of stillness that only exists after midnight—the hour when glamour loosens its collar and something more introspective slips through. For Spring 2026, Situationist, under the direction of Irakli Rusadze, leans into that quiet tension with a campaign that feels less like a statement and more like a state of mind. Shot by Davit Giorgadze, who also shares creative direction, the imagery unfolds like a series of private moments caught just before—or perhaps just after—something has happened.
Jessica Miller becomes the campaign’s steady, almost statuesque anchor. Her presence is less performative than observational, as though she’s aware of being watched but refuses to fully engage. Whether reclining in a stark bathtub, framed against richly veined marble, or caught in the soft haze of an interior space, she moves between environments with a composed detachment. The settings themselves—part brutalist, part bourgeois—create a subtle friction, where raw textures meet polished surfaces, echoing the duality at the heart of the collection.

Giorgadze’s lens oscillates between flash-lit immediacy and diffused, almost painterly calm. That interplay is where the campaign finds its rhythm. The sharper, high-contrast images inject a sense of intrusion, as if we’ve stumbled into a moment uninvited, while the softer compositions allow the clothes to breathe, emphasizing their structure and quiet sensuality. Tailoring is precise yet relaxed, often offset by bare skin or undone gestures—suggesting a wardrobe that exists somewhere between discipline and release.

What resonates most is the campaign’s commitment to mood over narrative. There is no overt storyline, no clear beginning or end—only fragments of atmosphere that accumulate into something evocative. It’s a confident choice, particularly for a House like Situationist, whose identity thrives on nuance and restraint. The repetition of the “SITUATIONIST” title across images acts almost as a grounding mechanism, a reminder that despite the shifting scenes, the perspective remains singular.
If there’s room to evolve, it lies in pushing the tension just a touch further. The campaign hints at disruption—the clash of spaces, the interplay of light—but stops short of fully unsettling the viewer. A slightly sharper edge, either in casting dynamism or environmental contrast, could elevate the narrative from contemplative to truly arresting.
Still, there’s an undeniable allure in its restraint. Situationist doesn’t chase the moment—it lingers in it. And in doing so, it captures that elusive space where fashion feels less like performance and more like presence.
