The Best Men’s Spring 2023 Fashion Show Invitations
While there’s certainly much to be said about the hype-generating power of digital platforms, there’s still nothing that sets the mood for a fashion show’s actual physical presence like a physical invitation. Whether giving a hint of what’s to come or choosing to remain mysterious, receiving an invitation is the first moment in which the show feels like a real, upcoming event that will take place.
Some brands leveraged this opportunity of runway reality by sending actual clothes, like Dolce & Gabbana’s hat and shirt combo, or Prada’s ironically unwearable paper coat.
Marine Serre and Kenzo gave a hint of the athletic and academic motifs of their upcoming collections with invitations in the form of a sweatband and a pennant, respectively, while Dior pointed to its garden theme with beautiful painted flowers and some dried botanicals to boot.
Meanwhile, other houses kept things simple yet impactful through more traditional invites with excellent graphic design, like Issey Miyake Homme Plissé, JW Anderson, and Junya Watanabe Man.
Here is a look at The Impression’s best Spring 2023 Men’s fashion show invitations from fashion weeks in Milan and Paris.
