The Reinvented Dior 62-22 Pump

Dior Pumps Fall 2022

For the Winter collection Maria Grazia Chiuri reinvented the iconic pumps – originally the fruit of the collaboration between Roger Vivier and Christian Dior. Named Dior 62-22, in reference to 1962 the year of their creation, the pumps are finished with elaborate embroidery and technical elements inspired by research from D-Air lab. Mimosa flowers are applied one by one to the pump in shades of coral and turquoise. Other styles of the pump are available in houndstooth and black. A high-tech strap fits around the ankle, made from ultralight neoprene and yellow stitching, this finishing touch is inspired by the world of motorcycling.
