Tory Burch takes New York with a glowing new campaign for Fall 2022 by photographer Jamie Hawkesworth.
Hawkesworth’s compositions draw out a rich interplay between the intricate geometry of the collection’s prints and patterns and the urban texture of the backdrops, as well as between its warm fall color scheme and the city’s golden-hour lighting. Emphasizing the look to the history of American sportswear present in each Tory Burch collection, the photographic vignettes attest to a sense of motion and ease, while a quietly confident feeling of luxury pervades each personality.
While Tory Burch’s connection to New York City has been hammered home time and time again in their marketing communications – perhaps to the point of being tired – this campaign in particular impressively manages to get to the core of the brand: confident, elegant womanhood, understated opulence, a subtly sporty sense of freedom, and a touch of whimsy.
