Fall 2022 Ad Campaign

Review of 16Arlington Fall 2022 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Marco Capaldo and Photographer Hugo Comte with models Alva Claire and Morgan Porter

16Arlington celebrates the life and design legacy of Kikka Cavenati with its elegant and strong Fall 2022 campaign. The campaign was captured by photographer Hugo Comte.

For the first time, this 16Arlington collection was completed solely by Marco Capaldo, who co-founded and designed the label alongside his partner Federica “Kikka” Cavenati, who sadly passed away in late 2021 due to a short, sudden illness at the age of 28. Titled Tears, the collection was both an intimate expression of mourning for the late designer, as well as a celebration of her life, work, and legacy.

The campaign puts a straightforward and intimate focus on the resulting work, allowing the collection to shine forth. Its design principles of lightness, strength, volume, and shimmering expressiveness speak to beloved characteristics of Cavenati’s much-missed personality. The images are a delicate yet powerful celebration of the designer’s luminous legacy.
