Review of Isabel Marant Ski Collection 2021 Ad Campaign by Photographer Ferry van der Nat with model Heather Kemesky
Isabel Marant unveils its first-ever ski collection with a snowy new campaign by photographer Ferry van der Nat.
Hopping on to the lift line of luxury houses that have recently launched ski collections – Chanel, Prada Linea Rossa, Coach, and more – the collection twists Isabel Marant’s signature blend of classic and contemporary cool into a range of alpine-ready pieces. Cable-knit sweaters, puffy jackets, fluffy boots, ski bibs, and more are realized in a cohesive color scheme of burgundy, goldenrod, and cream.
van der Nat captures the collection as modeled by Heather Kemesky in studio portraiture that alternates between a backdrop of a nighttime mountain range and one of pure snow white.
The imagery is simple and easy while still drawing a strong sense of character from the retro-cool designs.
Fans of the Parisian designer’s work will surely be pleased to be able to bundle up in style, whether hitting the slopes or chilling in the lodge.
