Adidas has announced that CEO Kasper Rorsted will step down next year and that it has begun the search for a replacement.
Rorsted will step down next year, the sportswear business announced Monday, and the search for a replacement has begun. Rorsted, who has been CEO since 2016, and the company’s supervisory board “mutually agreed” that he will step down in 2023, according to Adidas in Herzogenaurach, Germany.
Rorsted will serve as CEO until a successor is named, ensuring a smooth transition at the leadership of the company. Since 2016, Rorsted has served as CEO. (DPA)
