Review of Amiri Spring 2024 Men’s Fashion Show
A Flower Blooms in Paris
By Mark Wittmer
Presented among the lush greens of the brand’s go-to summer location of Paris’ Jardin des Plantes, Amiri’s Spring 2024 collection continues the steady evolution of the brand’s Los Angeles born, Paris bred vision of youthful luxury.

The collection deftly infused soulful 70s style and an organic and delicate craft sensibility into Amiri’s take on contemporary menswear trends.
Into the brand’s Kim Jones-esque application of relaxed streetwear volumes to luxurious tailoring, Amiri introduces craft cuteness by layering in unique crochet and knitting patterns under big 70s collars and lapels. A soft pastel palette pervades the collection, bringing in a poetic delicacy that is further pushed by the flowers as both brooches and held in the hands.
The excellent styling also goes a long way in developing a sense of color and character, making for exciting asymmetrical moments of volume and texture.

Eponymous creative director Mike Amiri has really come into his own with his brand over the past few seasons, and this collection nicely introduces craft references and a delicate, soulful spirit into his strong foundation of vintage California cool meets modern Parisian class.
