Spring 2024 Ad Campaign

Review of Versace Spring 2024 Ad Campaign by Photographer Mert Alas with models Claudia Schiffer, Loli Bahia, Fernando Lindez, Mona Tougaard, Noah Tumtataroa, Meng Yuqi, and Liu Wen

Versace asserts the enduring power of its signature aesthetic with its focused yet free Spring 2024 campaign lensed by photographer Mert Alas.

Alas takes a classic approach to capturing the campaign’s cast of leading models, allowing their powerful attitudes and the collection’s spirit of polished yet seductive and vibrant poise to shine through. In one portrait, the legendary Claudia Schiffer brings unexpected power to a pink skirt suit, while elsewhere she seductively covers up with only a Medusa bag. Another image sees Mona Tougaard make Amazonian use of the extra-long side slit in a sparkling yellow dress.

The house’s iconic creative director Donatella Versace sums it up best: “The power of these incredible women dressed in iconic House silhouettes and fabrics. Loli, Mona, and our legendary Claudia! This is everything I love in fashion. Of course…. It’s Versace!”

It’s nice to see the menswear looks treated with the same sense of glamor and power as the women’s, emphasizing how, in Versace’s world, the only boundary is the boldness of the wearer.

With a powerfully expressive cast that crosses boundaries of age and gender, the campaign in one focused statement sums up the very essence of contemporary Versace.
