The Appointment of the Former Celine Exec Coincides with Creative and and Economic Growth for the Brand
Jacquemus has appointed Sarah Benady as the new Chief Executive Officer to spearhead the brand’s expansion and deepen its creative endeavors. Benady, who previously led Celine’s North America operations, took up her new role with an immediate effect, marking a pivotal shift in the brand’s management. This move allows founder and creative director Simon Porte Jacquemus to focus more on design, brand storytelling, and strategic development while Benady drives business and market expansion.
Jacquemus and Benady are set to enhance the brand’s international presence and product offerings, with a notable entry into the fragrance market through a strategic partnership with L’Oréal. This collaboration not only introduces Jacquemus into the beauty sector but also includes an investment from L’Oréal, bolstering the brand’s independent growth. Their plans include the opening of new freestanding boutiques in Los Angeles and Miami, set for late April and early 2026, respectively, alongside exploring potential markets in South America and Asia.
The brand has seen substantial growth with the establishment of flagship stores in prime locations worldwide, including Paris, New York, and London, and operates seasonal resort boutiques in iconic destinations such as Saint-Tropez and Mykonos. With an established online presence and around 400 wholesale doors globally, Jacquemus continues to attract a sophisticated clientele, evidenced by record sales and customer engagement in their existing boutiques.
