A Cocktail-Driven Celebration With Designers, Models, and Tastemakers at L’Avenue at Saks
Saks Fifth Avenue ushered in New York Fashion Week with a spirited cocktail party hosted by Roopal Patel at Le Chalet at L’Avenue at Saks. The intimate-yet-glamorous evening brought together a who’s who of the fashion world—designers, models, influencers, and insiders—for a night of conversation, cocktails, and celebration inside the retailer’s iconic Fifth Avenue flagship.
“There’s an energy only New York Fashion Week brings, and tonight truly captured that spirit,” said Roopal Patel, SVP, Fashion Director at Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. “I’m so excited Saks Fifth Avenue kicked off the week with such an incredible collective of creatives, industry insiders and friends. Designed to reflect the playful sophistication of the week ahead, the event space featured a leopard-print pool table, a retro photo booth, and dancers styled in trend-driven looks pulled from Saks’s Fall 2025 campaign. Guests sipped bespoke cocktails and nibbled French dip sandwiches by Salt Hank, while Disco Lines brought the energy up with a pulse-raising performance.
The evening also doubled as a street-style moment, with Tinx arriving in a Proenza Schouler dress, Ashley Avignone wearing Dries Van Noten, and Max Siegelman in Burberry—all pieces currently available at Saks.com.
By spotlighting trends like Modern Minis and must-haves from Roopal’s Wardrobe in its Curated Shops online, Saks Fifth Avenue continues to reinforce its role as a tastemaker in the city’s ever-shifting fashion landscape.
