The sneaker collaboration returns with a new blue-and-white iteration grounded in craft, culture, and cinematic atmosphere
Amiri reunites with Maison Mihara Yasuhiro for the second chapter of their limited-edition sneaker collaboration, introducing a fresh blue-and-white colorway that builds on the partnership’s debut. Anchored in the Skel Top-Low and Peterson OG silhouettes, the release reflects a mutual respect for heritage while advancing a contemporary footwear dialogue. Amiri’s signature Nappa leather “Bones” appliqué meets Maison Mihara Yasuhiro’s distinctive clay-molded sole on a canvas upper, emphasizing material contrast and sculptural form. Co-branded woven and embroidered labels on the tongue and heel underscore the collaboration with restraint.
The accompanying campaign deepens that exchange through a cinematic lens. Starring Japanese rapper Jin Dogg, the visuals draw inspiration from Takeshi Kitano’s 2000 film Brother, collapsing the distance between Los Angeles and Tokyo. Atmospheric still and motion imagery trace countercultural figures through urban landscapes, styled in Amiri tailoring and grounded by the collaborative sneakers. The result is a narrative where fashion operates as a shared symbol of identity, shaped by music, film, and movement.
Remaining true to the spirit of the original release, this second edition preserves a focused palette, bold structure, and refined materials, embracing the aesthetics of DIY craftsmanship. Produced in limited quantities, the sneakers are available in the new blue-and-white colorway alongside the original black-and-white version, offered exclusively at select Amiri and Maison Mihara Yasuhiro stores, as well as a curated group of international retailers including Nordstrom, Vitkac, Jet, and Harrods.
