Miuccia Prada Hosted Filmmakers, Actors And Friends Of The House At Ca’ Corner Della Regina To Celebrate The 32nd Edition Of Miu Miu Women’s Tales

On the evening of the 32nd edition of Miu Miu Women’s Tales, the house gathered its filmmaking community and friends for an intimate dinner hosted by Miuccia Prada at Ca’ Corner della Regina, Fondazione Prada’s historic palazzo on Venice’s Grand Canal.

The dinner followed the Venice premiere of Claire Denis’ “Avec Kim,” the latest commission in Miu Miu’s long-running Women’s Tales series, and brought together participants from both its 31st and 32nd editions.
Suzanne Lindon and Kim Gordon, who star in Denis’ “Avec Kim,” joined Amanda Seyfried and filmmaker Mona Fastvold, whose “Discipline” debuted earlier this year as the 31st installment of the series.
They were joined by friends of the house including Pamela Anderson, Susan Sarandon, Orlando Bloom, Lou Stoppard, Thuso Mbedu, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Set within the 18th-century Ca’ Corner della Regina, the evening offered a more intimate counterpoint to the screenings and conversations surrounding Women’s Tales in Venice. Rather than functioning simply as a post-premiere celebration, the gathering reflected the community that Miu Miu has steadily built around the project since its launch in 2011 — connecting established filmmakers, emerging voices, actors, artists, and other women working across contemporary culture.

That continuity has become an important part of Women’s Tales. Each new commission stands independently, but together the films form an evolving archive of female perspectives, with fashion serving not simply as wardrobe but as another element through which character, identity, and experience can be explored.
For its 32nd chapter, that dialogue centered on Denis’ distinctive “cinema of the body” and the wordless relationship between Lindon and Gordon in “Avec Kim.” At Ca’ Corner della Regina, the conversation moved beyond the screen, bringing together several generations of creative voices for an evening that underscored the cultural community Miu Miu has cultivated around the project.
Guests included the cast and directors of edition #31 “Discipline” and #32 “Avec Kim,” Suzanne Lindon, Kim Gordon, Amanda Seyfried, and Mona Fastvold, as well as friends of the house Pamela Anderson, Susan Sarandon, Orlando Bloom, Lou Stoppard, Thuso Mbedu, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
