The Attico Celebrates 10th Anniversary With SUPERATTICO10 Collection

Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini celebrate a decade of the Milanese label with an anniversary collection, a Casa Mollino campaign, and a temporary Milan boutique

The Attico is marking its tenth anniversary with SUPERATTICO10, a special collection revisiting the design codes that have defined the Milanese label since its founding by Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini in 2016. Bringing together expressive eveningwear, intricate embellishments, and sharply constructed silhouettes, the collection reflects a decade of experimentation with glamour and femininity, accompanied by a campaign photographed at Turin’s Casa Mollino and the opening of a temporary boutique in Milan.

The anniversary collection takes its name from SUPERATTICO, a see-now-buy-now project introduced in September 2021. Comprising just fourteen dresses, the original release distilled the brand’s exuberant aesthetic into a series of statement pieces featuring marabou feathers, metallic sequins, fringes, crystals, and elaborate embroidery. Five years later, SUPERATTICO10 returns to those signatures with a more developed perspective, balancing the decorative excess associated with The Attico’s early collections against a growing interest in precision, structure, and restraint.

Throughout the collection, familiar elements are reworked through contrasts of texture, silhouette, and attitude. Transparency and sensual cuts appear alongside more constructed tailoring, while feathers, sequins, and intricate embellishments introduce movement and dimension. Rather than reproducing archival designs, Ambrosio and Tordini use the anniversary as an opportunity to reconsider the brand’s established vocabulary, emphasizing the versatility of a wardrobe that moves between theatrical expression and understated sophistication.

The accompanying imagery was photographed at Casa Mollino in Turin, the distinctive interior created by Italian architect and designer Carlo Mollino during the 1960s. The setting draws a connection to Mollino’s intimate Polaroid portraits of women, photographed within the highly personal environment he constructed. For The Attico, the location provides a backdrop for exploring individuality and self-presentation, with the interplay between clothing, architecture, and the women inhabiting the space reinforcing the collection’s celebration of personal expression.

SUPERATTICO10 also introduces the La Sant Ambroeus Mini, a smaller interpretation of the brand’s existing handbag design. Inspired by the polished elegance of Milan’s traditional sciura, the new version retains the original’s structured top-handle silhouette and asymmetrical construction. Its combination of classic references and unconventional proportions reflects The Attico’s approach to familiar accessories, introducing a more compact format without abandoning the design’s distinctive character.

To coincide with the anniversary, The Attico has opened a temporary boutique at Via Adalberto Catena 1 in Milan, near Piazza Meda and the historic Palazzo degli Omenoni. The 40-square-meter space features eight display windows and an interior that references the atmosphere of Casa Mollino through rustic velvet drapery, zebra-print carpeting, glossy black lacquer furnishings, and mocha-colored taffeta curtains. The contrast between tactile fabrics and structured architectural elements echoes the collection’s balance of sensuality and precision, while reinforcing the brand’s longstanding connection to Milanese design culture.

Ten years after its debut, The Attico continues to build on an identity rooted in expressive dressing and a distinctly personal interpretation of luxury. SUPERATTICO10 acknowledges the signatures that established the label while demonstrating how they have evolved, presenting the anniversary not simply as a retrospective but as an opportunity to define the next chapter of its creative direction.

SUPERATTICO10 launches October 20 and is available through The Attico’s website and its new temporary store in Milan.
