Balenciaga Meets Apple Vision Pro

Balenciaga Expands Its Apple Vision Pro Experience

The Update to the Brand’s Apple Vision Pro App Introduces New Immersive Features

Balenciaga has unveiled a major update to its Apple Vision Pro application, which was originally launched on July 16, 2024. The update introduces immersive features that elevate how users interact with the brand’s collections through the Apple Vision Pro, a wearable device powered by visionOS. The operating system allows users to navigate the experience using their eyes, hands, and voice, offering an innovative approach to digital engagement.

The updated app includes new videos, lookbooks, and 3D content, designed to immerse users in Balenciaga’s creative world. A custom-built video player now showcases spatial video footage from the Summer 2025, 53rd Couture, and Spring 2025 collections. The 180-degree footage, captured with specialized cameras and enhanced with advanced post-processing, allows users to feel as though they are physically present at Balenciaga runway shows.

In addition, a 3D lookbook for the Summer 2025 collection leverages spatial imaging to provide visual depth to each look, moving beyond the flat presentation of traditional 2D imagery. Enhanced spatial audio features accompany the shows, delivering Balenciaga’s signature soundtracks with dual-driver audio and ambient integration, replicating the auditory atmosphere experienced by guests at live events.

A new Accessories tab has been added, allowing users to explore select items from the Summer 2025 collection. Products like the Nano Top Handle Bag, Basketball Sneaker, and 360 Mask Sunglasses have been rendered as detailed 3D models that users can manipulate with spatial gestures.

The update also introduces a “10 Avenue George V” guided tour in the 53rd Couture section, offering a narrated exploration of Balenciaga’s couture salon in Paris. The tour, complete with optional subtitles in English and Chinese, provides a global audience with an intimate look at the brand’s heritage and craftsmanship.
