Bedford Media to Relaunch LIFE Magazine

Karlie Kloss’ Media Company Will Revive the Classic Magazine in Print and Digital

Bedford Media, led by CEO Karlie Kloss, has announced its plans to revive LIFE Magazine, both in print and digital formats, under a new agreement with media company Dotdash Meredith. Bedford Media will oversee all aspects of the revived LIFE Magazine, including editorial direction, revenue generation, and media initiatives.

“LIFE’s legacy lies in its ability to blend culture, current events, and everyday life—highlighting the triumphs, challenges, and unique perspectives that define us,” remarked Joshua Kushner, Publisher of LIFE Magazine.

Bedford Media, known for its focus on artisanal storytelling, authenticity, and cultural resonance, sees LIFE as an opportunity to offer a unifying voice in today’s media landscape. Karlie Kloss, CEO of Bedford Media, emphasized the company’s commitment to upholding LIFE’s iconic legacy while adapting to modern audiences.

“We see LIFE as an uplifting and unifying voice in a chaotic media landscape,” said Kloss. “While Bedford is a new media company, we are deeply inspired by LIFE’s iconic legacy and ability to connect diverse audiences with universal narratives of humanity.”

LIFE Magazine’s revival will span across print, digital, and video platforms, aiming to resonate with audiences of all generations.

Dotdash Meredith will retain ownership of the complete LIFE photography and content archives dating back to the 1930s. Additionally, they will continue to publish single-topic special interest magazines under the LIFE brand, available on newsstands.
