Casablanca and Selfridges invite you to take a trip with ‘Casa Airways’ through a distinctive aviation inspired installation housed within The Selfridges Corner shop, and across the three main window displays.

Hosting an exclusive 45-piece capsule collection, which is comprised of limited-edition azure hued bikinis, beach towels, silk pieces, crochet, and tailoring with a spectrum of garments, tailoring, silks, and accessories from the Automne-Hiver 2022 collection entitled ‘Le Monde Diplomatique’. The picturesque departure lounge which can also be admired from three windows within Selfridges Duke Street & Oxford Street façade will give the shopper a nostalgic experience curated around the brand’s ‘Casa Way’ philosophy, playing on the theme of a luxurious international airport.

With an exclusive pre-sale of the Casablanca collaboration with Globetrotter, an extremely limited run of luggage will also be available ahead of the official global launch later this summer.

The space also includes a Champagne bar where shoppers can taste Casablanca’s special edition branded champagne, which is available in both Rosé and Blanc de Blanc. Other elegant features include graphic 1990s airport signage, security, customs, and private jet set pieces that are tasteful nods to premium air travel of the era.

Much like the collection itself, France’s tricolore runs throughout as a subtle homage to Paris, Charaf Tajer’s home city. A window to a world where beauty and politics once gave birth to a decade of flamboyance and supersonic travel, the chosen terrace of diplomats, the Panthéon des poets, and the garden of desires is brought to life.

The collection is inspired by my hometown, and the elegance of the golden age of travel in the nineties when every single detail was carefully curated. Selfridges have supported Casablanca ever since our first collection, so creating this capsule and space was a natural fit.
