LVMH Moves Charlotte Coupé From Vuitton to Lead Kenzo

Charlotte Coupé has been appointed CEO of Kenzo, effective May 1, as LVMH continues to build momentum behind the brand’s modernization. Previously head of men’s ready-to-wear at Louis Vuitton, Coupé will take over from Sylvain Blanc, who is departing to pursue new ventures after guiding Kenzo through a strategic repositioning.
Coupé’s appointment reflects LVMH’s internal talent development model and her deep experience in fashion leadership. During her tenure at Vuitton, she collaborated closely with Pharrell Williams and Nigo, including on the co-designed Fall 2025 collection. That partnership has helped define Vuitton’s recent menswear narrative and is expected to inform Coupé’s vision for Kenzo moving forward.
As CEO, Coupé is expected to accelerate brand desirability and continue the maison’s global expansion, tapping into her product sensibility and experience with creative-led innovation. Her successor at Vuitton has not yet been announced.
