The Function-Forward Bag Comes in Three Sizes and a Range of Materials
Dior has launched its latest bag, the D-Journey, which was introduced by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri as part of her Spring 2025 collection. Characterized by its smooth, flowing design, the bag offers a modern take on silhouette and utility. It boasts a large main compartment with zip embellishments, designed to hold all essential items for daily use. The bag can be worn either as a short crossbody or over the shoulder, featuring a strap adorned with the “CD” initials, a nod to the brand’s luxurious craftsmanship.
The D-Journey is available in three sizes and presents a range of materials including full leather options and a variety enriched by Dior’s iconic cannage pattern in various textures such as smooth, crinkled, and grained leather, with either matte or polished finishes. Additionally, the bag comes in two canvas styles: one showcasing the classic Dior Oblique jacquard and another featuring the Dior Graphic motif in white letters, drawing inspiration from the brand’s archival designs.
The creation of the D-Journey bag is the result of a meticulous process undertaken by Dior’s skilled artisans, embodying the exceptional savoir-faire of the brand’s studios and ateliers. Every aspect of the bag is carefully assembled, from pattern drafting to the precision stitching of seams, ensuring the highest quality. Each bag is finished with the discreet placement of the “Christian Dior Paris” seal, applied by hand.
