Gabriela Hearst Names Thomas Klein as VP of Communications

Klein Enters the Newly Created Role After Working With Hearst at Chloé

Gabriela Hearst has appointed Thomas Klein as the vice president of communications, a newly established position within the fashion house. Klein’s tenure begins on Thursday, where he will directly report to Hearst and collaborate closely with Thierry Colin, the chief executive officer of the brand known for its sustainable luxury ethos.

Klein brings extensive experience to his new role, having previously served as the PR director at Chloé, where he worked alongside Hearst during her transformative three-year tenure with the brand. During this period, Hearst played a pivotal role in repositioning Chloé as a purpose-driven organization, emphasizing the use of low-impact materials.

Klein will be based out of Gabriela Hearst’s Milan office.

Klein’s professional background encompasses 15 years of working with prominent fashion and luxury brands. Prior to his role at Chloé, he served as the PR manager for Dries Van Noten in Paris. Additionally, Klein held positions as an account director at renowned public relations agencies in Paris, including Karla Otto and Relative MO, where he managed accounts for brands such as Off-White, Iris Van Herpen, and Ami Paris.
