GANNI and New Balance Co-Host Festive Event to Mark Their Latest Collaboration
Last night, in celebration of their SS24 show and the reveal of their new collaboration on the runway during Copenhagen Fashion Week, GANNI partnered with New Balance to co-host one of their renowned fashion week closing parties for a memorable night out in Copenhagen.
The party took place at the classic Copenhagen venue, Apollo Bar, located at Charlottenborg, home to the Royal Arts Academy. The dinner was curated by Copenhagen chef Frederik Bille Brahe, who prepared a summer-style vegetarian BBQ. Music was provided by Copenhagen’s finest, Adidaddi, as well as Arman Naféei from the music platform Are We On Air.
Long tables were arranged in an informal family-sharing style, adorned with printed GANNI x New Balance tablecloths featuring campaign illustrations by The New Yorker’s cartoonist Suerynn Lee.
As the dance floor came to life, GANNI Creative Director Ditte Reffstrup took to the decks, along with friends Adidaddi and Arman Naféei, playing tunes that had guests dancing on tables. The restaurant transformed into a sprawling dance floor, while others congregated in the back office, where the brand had set up a karaoke lounge decked out in vibrant yellow, the colour of the New Balance collaboration. The lounge featured fun cardboard cutouts inspired by the campaign, along with a tattoo station courtesy of GANNI’s friend and print artist Lukas Højlund.
Guests included Paloma Elsesser, Blanca Miro, Alana Hadid, Regina Anikiy, Mia Reagan, Chili Dia, Ceval, Edie Liberty and Sophia Roe, among others, all dressed in an array of GANNI creations. The party and guests were captured by New York photographer Hunter Abrams.
