Review of Gucci Lifestyle Fall 2021 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Alessandro Michele
and Art Director and Photographer Max Siedentopf with models Leon Beck, Lamine Lo, Akito Mizutani, and Nabou Thiam
Gucci celebrates its first-ever lifestyle collection with a new campaign by creative director Alessandro Michele and art director and photographer Max Siedentopf.
Arriving alongside the house’s 100th anniversary, Gucci’s first lifestyle collection features stationery sets, games, travel sets, and loungewear in a range of beautiful and distinctive Gucci prints. The launch was celebrated with a pop-up stationery shop in Milan fashioned after the traditional Italian paper shop, and the celebration continues with a joyful new campaign for Fall 2021.
Siedentopf’s imagery channels Gucci’s signature whimsicality and surrealism to elevate the everyday activities associated with the objects of the lifestyle collection.
Bubbling with quirky personality, an eclectic cast of characters enliven small, daily moments of creativity and play through the colorful presence of these elevated artifacts. It’s a smart and joyful way to communicate that even the smallest things can brighten up the day with a touch of Gucci.
