Former Saint Laurent Executive to Lead Gucci’s Commercial Strategy Amid Brand Revitalization
Gucci has appointed Cayetano Fabry as its new chief commercial officer, drawing from his extensive experience in the luxury sector. Fabry, who previously served as president of the EMEA region at Saint Laurent, brings with him a strong international portfolio, including 16 years at Louis Vuitton, where he held various operational and regional management roles across Europe and South America.
Fabry’s educational background includes a master’s degree in business law from the University of Paris Nanterre and another in law from the Complutense University of Madrid. He also enhanced his management expertise at Sciences Po Paris. His appointment to Gucci’s leadership team follows his tenure at Kering, where he joined in 2020, and comes during a strategic reorganization at the luxury fashion house.
Earlier in 2024, Gucci announced several leadership changes, including the hiring of Davide Buzzoni as global communications director and Stefano Cantino as deputy general manager, all aimed at supporting CEO Jean-François Palus. Sabato De Sarno also took over as creative director earlier this year, succeeding Alessandro Michele.
