General Manager of Rabanne Fashion House Exits Role
Nadia Dhouib, the general manager of Rabanne fashion house, has reportedly stepped down from her role earlier this week, as per market sources.
Having joined Rabanne in March 2022, Dhouib reported to Vincent Thilloy, chief brands officer for Paco Rabanne and Jean Paul Gaultier, both owned by Spanish fashion and fragrance group Puig.
Her next career move remains undisclosed at this time.
Prior to her role at Rabanne, Dhouib served as the managing director of Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées, where she developed the store’s strategy to align with online shopping trends. With a 15-year tenure at Galeries Lafayette Group, she held various positions including deputy buying director for multiple categories.
According to sources, Jean-Jacques Guével is currently serving on an interim basis at Rabanne to aid in the management transition.
Guével previously resigned from his position as the chief executive officer of Balmain in March, with an extensive background in senior roles at various fashion houses such as Zadig & Voltaire, Celine, and Louis Vuitton.
Rabanne house has been focused on expanding globally across fashion and fragrance sectors, rebranding from Paco Rabanne to Rabanne, unveiling a new visual identity, launching a makeup range, and detailing plans for retail expansion.
Under the creative direction of Julien Dossena, Rabanne has strengthened its fashion presence, realigned its brand aesthetics, and engaged with celebrities through eveningwear collections. Recently, the brand also made strategic moves in the fragrance sector, appointing Troye Sivan as the first global makeup brand ambassador and Gigi Hadid as the ambassador for the new Million Gold for Her fragrance.
