Prada Takes Over Selfridges’ Corner Shop

The Special Retail Installation Embraces Nature for the Spring Season

Prada has returned to the Selfridges Corner Shop, marking its reappearance after a hiatus of six months. The Italian luxury brand is embracing the English spring season with a themed installation featuring a green garden ambiance, complete with wooden furnishings that evoke a meadow-like atmosphere.

Titled “Prada En Plein Air,” the collaboration with Selfridges is part of an ongoing series of activations by the brand. The display, showcasing men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories, will be open until May 19.

In tandem with the Selfridges launch, Prada has also launched a complementary installation at Harrods, featuring a floral-inspired motif. This pop-up space will be available until May 26.

Nature appears to be a recurring theme in Prada’s recent ventures. Last October, at the Selfridges Corner Shop, Prada Reporter, a collaboration between Prada and Magnum Photos, presented 150 photographic works exploring the relationship between humanity and nature, while the set of the brand’s Fall 2024 show explored a tension between the office environment and the natural landscape. Prada has also recently launched campaigns and activations around its sustainably minded Re-Nylon collection and partnership with ocean conservation organizations.
