The Top 10 ‘Standout’ Shows Milan Fashion Week Spring 2023

While Milan more than any other city feels dominated by the old guard, the big, established and iconic names in luxury fashion, a not-so-quiet revolution is happening just beneath the surface. These are the standout designers forming the new guard of Italian fashion and guiding it forward into an exciting new era.

Daniel Del Core continues to make a name for himself after just a handful of collections from his eponymous label, bringing an exquisite couture-level sensibility to his subtly fantastical craft.

Matty Bovan dazzled with a psychedelically layered, utterly maximalist collection that was a kaleidoscopic ode to the vibrant self-expression and self-determined freedom of youth.

An identical twin was Milan’s hottest accessory, and Sunnei brilliantly deployed the casting conceit to challenge us to open our minds to playfulness and surreality in our approach to daily dressing.
