A Night of Advocacy and Celebration in Los Angeles
MOTHER and Mother Tongue came together to mark the launch of their collaborative Mother Knows Best campaign with a vibrant cocktail party at Mars speakeasy in Los Angeles.
Co-founders Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding of MOTHER, along with Melissa Goldstein of Mother Tongue, welcomed guests to the intimate venue tucked behind Mother Wolf. Against the backdrop of Rainsford’s performance, attendees, including actor Britt Robertson-Floyd, singer Danny Dwyer, and photographer Paris Mumpower, immersed themselves in an atmosphere of creativity.
Taking the stage, Melissa Goldstein and Lela Becker underscored the significance of the upcoming election year and urged guests to embrace the “Mother Knows Best” message. Attendees were gifted with campaign caps and socks, symbolizing their commitment to the cause. Notable figures from various industries, such as actors Gillian Jacobs and Logan Browning, and models Hilary Rhoda and Natalia Bonifacci, lent their support to the campaign, dressed in MOTHER attire. DJ Deja Monet kept the energy high as guests, including campaign stars Elise Peterson and Rumer Willis, danced the night away. With a mission-driven approach, MOTHER aims to amplify the voices advocating for reproductive rights and gun control, with a portion of proceeds from the campaign benefiting Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund.
