In a poetic tribute to craftsmanship Dior unveils an artful installation inside the French Pavilion
Dior has announced its participation in the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, reinforcing its enduring relationship with Japan through a striking presence inside the French Pavilion. Framed around the theme Hymne à l’amour, the Maison presents a refined homage to artistry, couture, and the gestures that shape beauty.

Within the exhibit, Dior offers a journey through heritage and innovation. A Rodin sculpture, a trio of Bar suits in blue, white, and red, and Christian Dior’s legendary Amphores Tricolores—originally designed in 1949 and recently reissued for Paris 2024—serve as powerful symbols of French craftsmanship.
The installation also nods to Christian Dior’s early dream of becoming an architect. A standout piece is the Lady Dior bag reimagined by renowned Japanese architect Kazuyo Sejima for the 2024 Lady Dior As Seen By project.
At its core, the display features over 400 white toiles in varying scales—three-dimensional tributes to the artistry of haute couture—alongside 3D-printed reinterpretations of Dior’s iconic fragrance bottles. The exhibit’s atmosphere is further elevated by ethereal imagery from Japanese artist Yuriko Takagi, who animates Dior models in a dreamlike sequence.
Completing the immersive experience is a design by Tokujin Yoshioka, who re-envisioned the Maison’s iconic Medallion chair in 2021—another expression of Dior’s dialogue with Japanese artistry.
“The House is delighted to announce its participation in the 2025 World Expo taking place in Osaka, reaffirming its unbreakable ties with Japan.”
