Edward Enninful Launches EE72 Digital Platform and Print Magazine

The September launch marks the first major initiative from Enninful’s new media and entertainment company

Edward Enninful’s new media and entertainment company EE72, announced in February, will debut a namesake digital platform and a print magazine called 72 Magazine this September. Both projects will cover fashion, beauty, luxury, and culture, marking the company’s first major editorial initiative.

The EE72 website promises “thought-provoking storytelling, exclusive interviews, and deep explorations into the forces shaping our creative world,” according to a company statement. Simone Olivier, formerly of The New York Times, Refinery29, and Allure, will serve as head of content. Sarah Harris, former editor-at-large at British Vogue, joins as editorial director for both the site and print title. Lee Swillingham and Stuart Spalding, the acclaimed creative duo behind British Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar Italia, and agency Suburbia, will oversee creative direction for the magazine.

The launch marks Edward Enninful’s return to publishing since stepping down as European editorial director of Vogue and editor-in-chief of British Vogue earlier this year. EE72 is co-led by his sister, talent agent Akua Enninful, who acts as CEO.

“This launch with a dedicated publication [is a shining example] of our vision to champion creative integrity and collaboration,” Edward and Akua Enninful shared in a joint statement. “We are excited to share an editorial world that reflects the cultural shifts shaping today’s landscape.”
