The Italian house unveils an immersive window and facade display alongside exclusive product launches and personalization services
Loro Piana is celebrating its long-standing connection to New York City with a dedicated installation at Bergdorf Goodman, running from October 17 through November 3, 2025. The initiative includes a full window and facade takeover, exclusive products, and a personalization service for two of the house’s signature items: the Grande Unita scarf and the Unito blanket.

The display takes over both the women’s and men’s store windows of Bergdorf Goodman, highlighting the house’s craftsmanship and material expertise. Rooted in the Maison’s heritage, the installation draws inspiration from its textile legacy while paying tribute to New York, a city central to its history.
The windows feature detailed, handcrafted scenes populated with wooden puppets representing Loro Piana artisans. With an Art Deco sensibility, the presentation combines the brand’s codes with New York’s architectural and cultural identity. Each window tells part of Loro Piana’s story — from the journey of raw cashmere to the weaving of fine fabrics at its Quarona factory.
The women’s windows trace key themes in the house’s narrative: the transport of bales of fiber, the lightness of baby cashmere, the thistle flower emblem used in its fabric brushing process, and an homage to New York’s skyline. Additional scenes incorporate archival sketches by Marcello Dudovich and a dedicated display of a foulard created exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman.

The men’s windows echo the same attention to craft and detail. Highlights include vintage cars on the Suitcase Stripe motif, stamped fiber bales bearing the house’s coat of arms, and Pier Luigi Loro Piana’s quote, “Luxury is inextricably linked to quality,” woven into fabric by a wooden loom.
The installation extends to Bergdorf Goodman’s facade with a light animation tracing Loro Piana’s sourcing journey — from Mongolia to Italy and finally New York — symbolized through a dancing thread that culminates in a light show. The illumination runs nightly from October 18 to 26, 7:30 to 11 p.m.
In tandem with the installation, Loro Piana is launching exclusive products available only at Bergdorf Goodman. The selection includes tailored garments, accessories, and bags crafted in signature fabrics and colors. A personalization corner allows clients to customize the Grande Unita scarf and the Unito blanket, with embroidery overseen by Loro Piana artisans.
The event also aligns with the holiday season, introducing a curated gifting selection including scarves, beanies, and cashmere baseball caps.

Loro Piana’s relationship with New York dates back to 1989, when it opened its first office in the city, followed by its debut concept store in 1994. Bergdorf Goodman became one of its earliest retail partners in the U.S., carrying accessories and exclusive pieces for its clientele. This installation marks a continuation of that history, underscoring New York’s lasting role in the house’s evolution.
