Loewe Names Théodore Pellerin as New Brand Ambassador

Canadian Actor Cites Shared Sensibility And Craft As Basis For Appointment

Théodore Pellerin has been appointed ambassador for Loewe, describing the partnership as rooted in shared values rather than visibility. “For me, becoming a Loewe ambassador is more about alignment than representation,” he says. “I’ve always been drawn to working with people I genuinely admire and with whom there’s a shared sensibility. Loewe feels like a place where intelligence and curiosity come first. It’s a House that gives space to personal voice, and that makes the relationship feel natural and meaningful rather than performative.”

The Canadian actor, whose career spans independent films and larger-scale productions, has worked with directors including Ari Aster, Eliza Hittman, Xavier Dolan and Sophie Dupuis. His recent projects include Alex Russell’s Lurker, which earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination, and Pauline Loquès’s debut feature Nino, for which he received the Louis Roederer Foundation Rising Star Award and a César Award nomination. Pellerin recently completed Nicole Garcia’s Milo opposite Marion Cotillard and is currently filming Tom Ford’s Cry to Heaven in Rome.

Pellerin points to Loewe’s focus on craftsmanship as a key point of connection. “There’s a real attention to detail, to the hand, to the time things take. That feels very close to acting.” He describes his own process as grounded in precision and immersion, shaped through sustained focus and adjustment. “A lot of the work happens quietly, behind the scenes, but it’s what gives depth and meaning in the end.” He adds, “I’m also drawn to the balance LOEWE has between rigour and playfulness —a seriousness about craft without heaviness. That’s something I try to seek in my own work as well.”

Creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez say the parallels between performance and craft informed the decision. “Acting, like craft, truly vibrates when all the hard work behind it dissolves — when the effort disappears and a certain playfulness comes through,” they say. “These are the qualities we recognize in Théodore’s way of bringing characters to life.” They add that his tone, openness to experimentation and instinct for possibility align with their vision for the brand. “This natural affinity is something we can’t wait to explore more.”

The appointment comes as Loewe moves forward under McCollough and Hernandez, with Pellerin positioned as part of that direction. Both sides frame the collaboration as an extension of shared interests in experimentation, dialogue and craft, reflecting an approach the House continues to develop.
