Bottega Veneta extends the world of its Alta fragrance collection with a new selection of handcrafted leather goods and accessories, bringing the house’s signature Intrecciato craftsmanship into the realm of fragrance. Accompanied by a new series of images, the expansion introduces perfume holders, cosmetic pouches, and sculptural accessories designed to complement the collection’s ten Eau de Parfum expressions. The offering reflects the house’s approach to integrating traditional leatherworking techniques with contemporary lifestyle essentials.
At the center of the collection are perfume holders crafted from Intrecciato piccolo calfskin, designed to accommodate Alta’s 50ml and 100ml bottles. A miniature charm version offers a portable option for the 10ml format, transforming fragrance into an accessory that can accompany its wearer throughout the day. Each holder is available in five shades, while the charm introduces an additional Basil green variation. The woven leather construction creates a visual connection between the physical accessories and the fragrance collection’s underlying concept of interlaced ingredients.
The offering also includes geometric cosmetic pouches in multiple sizes, available in two colors and finished with the house’s distinctive leather weave. Designed for travel and everyday organization, the pouches extend Bottega Veneta’s leather craftsmanship into functional objects. Completing the selection is the Sardine hair comb, which reinterprets the sculptural fish motif associated with the house’s accessories in gold-finished steel, accompanied by a leather lanyard. Together, the pieces translate familiar elements of Bottega Veneta’s design vocabulary into a collection of personal essentials.
Originally introduced in June, Alta comprises ten Eau de Parfum compositions developed around the concept of the “Intrecciato duo,” pairing an ingredient from Italy with another sourced from elsewhere in the world. The approach draws a parallel between the interwoven leather strips of the house’s signature technique and the combination of contrasting fragrance notes. Among the compositions, Always Now brings together fresh Italian basil and Madagascan vetiver, while Montebello combines Italian citrus with North African neroli. Ricordami takes a more nostalgic direction, pairing notes inspired by stracciatella ice cream with the warmth of oakwood.
The relationship between scent and materiality is central to the expanded offering, with the leather accessories providing a tangible expression of the fragrance collection’s creative identity.
