Ryota Iwai’s collections for Auralee embody the concept of “quiet luxury,” drawing inspiration from the diverse individuals who inhabit city parks during their leisure time.
This season, Iwai focused on creating luxurious yet understated preppy looks and vintage silhouettes using super-soft high-end fabrics developed in-house. The collection featured super-soft chino pants, high-waisted trench coats, and raincoats, perfect for city dwellers braving the occasional rain in Paris.
Leather and suede bomber jackets added a touch of vintage charm to the collection, while tailored shorts, check pajamas, and co-ed silhouettes in gray wools and rich chocolate hues reflected a relaxed yet sophisticated aesthetic.
Accessories like cozy knits, leather Filofaxes, and moccasins emphasized the casual luxe approach of Auralee’s spring collection. Models effortlessly carried themselves with neckerchiefs and ties loosely knotted, embodying a sense of laid-back elegance.
