Winter 2024 Ad Campaign

Review of Bally Winter 2024 Ad Campaign by Creative Director Simone Bellotti with Photographer Luna Conte and Videographer Martin Senyszak

Bally explores an intersection of art history and Swiss heritage with the campaign for its Winter 2024 capsule collection, shot by photographer Luna Conte with video by Martin Senyszak.

The campaign sets creative director Simone Bellotti’s cozy and quietly considered Winter capsule against the galleries of the Kunstmuseum in Basel, Switzerland’s art capital. Conte’s balanced compositions exude a feeling of tranquility and reflection as their characters move through the light and airy spaces and engage soulfully with masterpieces of sculpture and landscape painting.

The accompanying short film beautifully deepens the mood, thanks in large part to the smart sound design that layers the sound of echoing footsteps over a pensive ambient score, seeming to perfectly capture the quiet magic of an afternoon well spent at a great art museum.

Since taking over as Bally’s design director last year, Bellotti has consistently done smart work to reconnect the house with its Swiss roots and heritage while still maintaining a feel of contemporary polish and cultural dialogue. This campaign is another strong extension of that practice, connecting the brand’s design perspective with the artistic legacy of its home country and crafting an inviting ode to creative communion.
