Balmain announces new Chief Marketing Manager
Balmain’s new management team continues to take shape with the appointment of Bruna Scognamiglio as the luxury label’s Chief Marketing Manager. Scognamiglio joins Balmain from Ferragamo, bringing over twenty years of experience in traditional and digital marketing in the fashion and luxury sectors.
According to a statement from Balmain, Scognamiglio will oversee all aspects of the brand’s global marketing strategies, image direction, and communications to drive Balmain’s ambitions for the future. She will report directly to CEO Matteo Sgarbossa and will begin her new role on 9 September.
Scognamiglio’s career includes positions at Procter & Gamble, where she worked for nearly fifteen years before moving on to roles in beauty communications for various luxury labels and regions. She then joined Coty as vice president global PR & influencer marketing for Gucci before transitioning to Tod’s and eventually Ferragamo, where she served as Global Brand and Marketing Director.
Scognamiglio takes over the position from Txampi Diz, who left Balmain in March to join Casablanca. The Italian manager’s appointment comes after the arrival of Matteo Sgarbossa as CEO in May, succeeding Jean-Jacques Guével.
