Handbags often trend toward more neutral tones in colder months, as compared to bright color combinations that are typical for Spring/Summer collections. Fall 2020 was no exception with predominantly black, white, brown, beige, plus deep greens and blues that almost read as neutrals. Bold primary yellow as an accent colour did make an appearance at many key houses including Fendi, Hermès, Louis Vuitton and Prada, along with an oversized butter-yellow offering from Burberry. Other trends include flurries of fringe from Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Balmain, Kenneth Ize and many others, and oversized chains from JW Anderson, Dries Van Noten, Nº21 and MSGM.
Here are The Impression’s picks for the Top 100 bags for Fall 2020.
