The company has appointed Vérane de Marffy to lead the new division as it seeks to accelerate growth across its fragrance portfolio
The Estée Lauder Companies has established a new North America Fragrance Cluster and appointed Vérane de Marffy as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Fragrances, North America. The move consolidates the company’s fragrance portfolio under a unified leadership structure, reflecting fragrance’s growing importance within the beauty giant’s broader growth strategy.

De Marffy joins Estée Lauder from William Grant & Sons, where she served as Chief Marketing Officer for the U.S. market. Prior to that, she spent more than two decades at L’Oréal, holding leadership positions across fragrance and beauty brands including Ralph Lauren Fragrances and Lancôme. Her appointment brings significant category expertise at a time when fragrance continues to attract younger consumers and outperform many areas of prestige beauty.
In her new role, de Marffy will be responsible for driving growth across Estée Lauder’s fragrance business in North America. She will directly oversee Kilian Paris and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle while also working alongside leadership teams across the company’s broader fragrance portfolio, which includes brands such as Jo Malone London, Tom Ford Beauty, and Balmain Beauty. The newly created cluster is designed to streamline management and strengthen coordination across the category.
The reorganization underscores Estée Lauder’s broader focus on fragrance as a key growth engine. The category delivered double-digit sales growth during the company’s fiscal 2026 third quarter, prompting continued investment in innovation, retail expansion, and leadership talent. By consolidating its fragrance brands under a single structure, the company appears to be positioning itself to capitalize on sustained consumer demand for prestige scent across both established and emerging luxury labels.
