Fendi Releases Beachwear Capsule

Fendi’s Summer Vertigo Collection Marks 3rd Collaboration With Artist Sarah Coleman

Fendi has partnered with New York-based visual artist Sarah Coleman for the 3rd time.  The Summer Vertigo capsule collection consists of beachwear and includes Coleman’s reimagined FF Vertigo logo.

Silvia Venturini Fendi collaborated with Coleman for the capsule that includes swimwear for women and men, bucket hats, matching accessories like towels and elastic hair ties, and even a Polaroid camera. The collection fuses ’90s streetwear and ’70s flair with the brand’s signature codes in colorful prints, including shades of blue, yellow, and brown.

The Summer Vertigo campaign was photographed by Valentin Herfray, with a beach backdrop including sandcastles, jumping models, and a Fendi logo surfboard, skateboard and soccer ball. Giovanni Dario Laudicina styled the shoot featuring a cast of models, including Lisa Lu, Evelina Lauren, Ibra, and David Ge.

Coleman first collaborated with Fendi in 2020 to reinterpret its Miami Design District boutique. Next came a Spring/Summer 2021 collection titled Vertigo – where the artist among other things – put an updated spin on the classic FF logo.

Coleman is considered a “disruptive” New York-based artist, who is best known for repurposing fashion’s most recognizable logo prints with everyday objects. Her work ranges from pill bottles encased in Louis Vuitton leather, to foldable chairs crafted from Prada’s iconic nylon.

The capsule collection is available now on FENDI.com
