The Via Montenapoleone Flagship was Redesigned by Architect Vincent Van Duysen and House Creative Director Maximilian Davis
Ferragamo is set to unveil its renovated Via Montenapoleone women’s flagship alongside the debut of its fall collection this Saturday. The boutique, housed in the historic Palazzo Carcassola Grandi, underwent extensive refurbishment under the guidance of architect Vincent Van Duysen. Creative director Maximilian Davis, along with CEO Marco Gobbetti, led the creative development of the new concept.
The 3,024 square feet store boasts an airy ambiance with Venetian stucco walls, stone floors, and cream-colored ceilings complemented by red marble slabs, a tribute to the founder’s love for the color. Grand mirrors and soft, rounded furnishings enhance the space, reflecting Davis’s vision of sensual elegance.
Van Duysen preserved the structure’s integrity while infusing modern elements, using materials like Chambolle stone and Calacatta Copper marble. The store showcases contemporary furniture design in conversation with the house’s own offerings including pieces by emerging talents like Andrea Mancuso and JoAnn Tan.
The boutique offers a range of products, from footwear and bags – including the brand’s new star, the Hug Bag – to ready-to-wear and fragrance, as well as featuring special services like initial monogramming. Additionally, the store prioritizes sustainability, employing renewable energy and eco-friendly materials in line with LEED Gold certification standards.
